That’s why, while most furniture manufacturers only offer a 2-year warranty, we offer a 2-year warranty.
Your item has been crafted using the highest-quality materials by skilled craftspeople. It was also quality-checked and tested at several stages, from the supply chain to production to the moment it arrived in our warehouse. So we’re confident that 99% of the time, your piece will be exactly as you imagined it.
What does this warranty cover?
Residential:
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in Icons of Manhattan furniture.
Commercial:
This warranty covers metal or solid wood structural failures in Icons of Manhattan furniture resulting from light commercial use in offices or similar settings.
How long does the coverage last?
Residential:
This warranty starts from the date of delivery. This warranty lasts for 2 years on any metal or solid wood structural failures resulting from residential, non-commercial use. This warranty lasts for 1 year on any soft parts and workmanship-related failures. Examples of failures covered under the 1-year warranty include threading, piping, buttons, rubber components, and parts attached with adhesive that come loose from residential, non-commercial use.
Commercial:
This warranty starts from the date of delivery and lasts for 1 year.
What will Icons of Manhattan do?
Residential:
For the 2-year warranty on metal or solid wood structural failures, Icons of Manhattan will provide replacement part(s) at no charge with a lead time of 8–14 weeks. For the 1-year warranty on soft parts and workmanship-related failures—including threading, piping, buttons, rubber components, and parts attached with adhesive—Icons of Manhattan will reimburse local repair charges under the following conditions:
- The repair service quote is first approved by Icons of Manhattan, and
- Icons of Manhattan does not guarantee the work performed by the local repair service and cannot be held responsible for further compensation in the event of unsatisfactory repair work.
Commercial:
Depending on the issue, this may involve shipping you replacement parts, arranging repair, or providing a complete replacement at our discretion. Icons of Manhattan will provide replacement part(s) at no charge with a lead time of 8–14 weeks. The customer is responsible for any labor and/or shipping charges for the replacement part(s). As an alternative to replacement parts, Icons of Manhattan will reimburse local repair charges under the following conditions:
- The repair service quote is first approved by Icons of Manhattan, and
- Icons of Manhattan does not guarantee the work performed by the local repair service and cannot be held responsible for further compensation in the event of unsatisfactory repair work.
What does this warranty not cover?
Residential:
This warranty does not cover marble, paint, leather, metal finish, fabric, fiberglass, foams, plywood, rugs, veneers, cushioning, and coating materials. Icons of Manhattan’s furniture that is not explicitly specified as suitable for outdoor use is not covered for damage or defects resulting from outdoor use.
Any problem caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of nature, such as wind, flood, or freezing water—including splitting and breakage from water accumulation in tubing—animal damage, burn marks, including those resulting from sunlight passing through glass filled with liquid, which can at certain times act as a magnifying lens, fading, staining, mildewing of fabrics, compression of cushion fillings/fiber, and failure to take reasonable care of the furniture, including proper care and maintenance, is not covered.
Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the furniture. If the products are removed from the contiguous U.S. or Canada, the warranty is considered void.
Commercial:
This warranty does not cover soft parts, marble, paint, leather, fabric, fiberglass, polypropylene, foams, plywood, veneers, and coating materials. Warranties are only valid when products are used for their intended purpose and exhibit normal use. Products are not covered by warranty if the defect results from causes beyond normal wear and tear. Icons of Manhattan’s furniture that is not explicitly specified as suitable for outdoor use is not covered for damage or defects resulting from outdoor use.
Any problem caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of God, such as a flood, is not covered. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the furniture.
How do you get service?
If a product is faulty, the customer must contact Icons of Manhattan within 14 days of delivery and provide any requested information, including, but not limited to, images and a full description of the issue.
